In individual sessions, music therapists work with people of all ages and use each client's favorite songs and favorite music activities to work toward individualized goals. These goals, among others, include:
Increase language/communication skills
Increase social skills
Increase emotion regulation
Increase gross/fine motor skills
Increase cognitive/academic skills
HHMT is now a Family Empowerment Scholarship/EMA provider, Medicaid/Sunshine Health providers, and BNet providers. We are currently accepting new individual client requests!
Adaptive lessons are for individuals who require extra care to learn music or a musical instrument. These include people with physical disabilities, people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and children as young as two years.
